Mahogany Table circa 1790

This table had been used as an ironing board - until one day the inevitable happened! Restoration involved selecting a piece of mahogany of a similar age and grain, cutting it into the surface to the depth of one of the reeds on the edge of the table, approximately 1/3 of the total thickness. All was then sanded and polished to blend.
